Everyone ages. It is an inherent property of life. As our bodies and minds develop over time, we adapt to these changes by modifying our decisions and actions. The later years of life can be especially challenging, but Dorothy Cares Assisted Living Facilities is here to help. We listen to the needs of our residents in order to understand their limitations and discuss potential solutions. We work with our family members to customize options that will help them lead the lives they want.

I was born and raised in New York, and I relocated to Florida after I lost my mother to cancer. I moved here to be closer to my father who was also battling cancer and now a survivor. I have been a nurse for over 17 years now with experience working in a couple of clinical settings, pediatrics, geriatrics, correctional nursing, psychiatric nursing, hospice nurse and currently Administrator to my Assisted Living Facilities. I got motivated to open my home to the elder population that needed assistance after working out in the nursing field visiting patients in the larger Assisted Living Facilities and after 2 years of having an Adult Family Care Home, I transitioned to an Assisted Living Facility.  Lastly, of course, my inspiration, which is my very own beautiful grandma that I adore with all my heart!
